This policy explains what information zwink collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. zwink is operated by Gusgaseaiworks ("we", "us"), based at 1504, South End B Cross, Jayanagar 9th Block, Bangalore 560069, India.

Information we collect

• Phone number, verified via SMS one-time code, used to create and secure your account.
• Location data, used to show nearby rides, plot routes, and match pickup/drop-off points. Location is only accessed while you use the app.
• Vehicle and driving details, for hosts only: registration certificate (RC) number and related verification data, used to confirm you're eligible to publish rides.
• Ride activity, including routes published or accepted, fares, and timestamps, used to operate the marketplace and calculate platform fees.
• Wallet balance, used to process platform fees. zwink does not process the ride fare itself — that payment happens directly between host and guest.

How we use this information

• To match guests with hosts travelling a genuinely overlapping route.
• To verify host eligibility (vehicle RC, blacklist and commercial-plate checks) before allowing rides to be published.
• To calculate and collect the platform fee for each completed match.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't process or store your ride-fare payment — that stays a direct arrangement between host and guest.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to operate zwink, including mapping and routing (Geoapify), SMS/phone verification (Firebase), and vehicle RC verification (Cashfree). These providers only receive the data needed to perform their specific function.

Data retention

Ride records are retained for at least 30 days to support dispute resolution and safety review, and may be retained longer where required for legal or accounting purposes.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address below. Deleting your account removes your profile and future matching eligibility; some ride history may be retained as described above.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if our practices change, and update the date at the top accordingly.
